Week #1

My personal goal is to stick with the McDougall Plan for 12 weeeks ( It is a lowfat, starch-based eating lifestyle. So fruits and veggies will be easy. No snacking will be hard. In fact, I don't think I am going to even try the no snacking thing. Cause then I would be uncomfortable hungry during most of the day. So I'll have to see how far I can get with aiming for 9 out of 10 points.

My starting weight is 136. I lost 7 pounds in June/July so I have 3 more to go to be at my prepregnancy weight or 11 more to go to get to my ideal/college weight. My 'baby' is 17 months old. My husband and I have 6 kiddos. The oldest is 16. But it is not about the weight, huh? I like the idea of having healthy living goals that are not all about weight loss.

One of my biggest challenges coming up this week is tomorrow night. I love big bags of movie popcorn and Robert and I are going to see UP! at the dollar theater for our Friday night date. I plan to chew gum :)

  1. Amber~ I thought to clarify and didn't that no snacking doesn't mean no eating between meals (which is actually good for you), but to not eat treats. Don't know if that helps, but good luck!!! If you can pass on movie popcorn, you can do ANYTHING! :)
